So I couldnt wait to finish this one! These Franklins with the chambered bodies are such a cool take on such a classic design!  Light weight, super resonant Ash, this is another one you can feel the vibrations resonate in your hands. This neck is like butter, the back was finished with a mixture of Boiled Linnseed Oil, Mineral Spirits and Japan Drier that I applied with 600-800-1200 grit wet sand paper. About as smooth of a natural finish as you will find! 
The finish is a beauty and the checking throughout makes this one feel like a truely vintage instrument. The nickel hardware was aged perfectly! Then there are the Righteous Sound “RAF’s”, you would be hard pressed to find a better set of PAF’s out there. I’m such a huge fan of all of their pick ups, and these not only do not disappoint, but I found myself losing two hours when I was running it through its paces!
