Alrighty a new metallic color! So this one is a Metallic Mercedes Blue Nitro which if I remember correctly, was a custom color Fender made for Eric Clapton. Apparently in the 80’s Clapton wanted a color that would match his new metallic blue Mercedes. 
So the finish turned out great! Tasteful medium aging redulted in a killer looking and feeling strat! The neck is super comfy, all aged nickel hardware makes this one pop. The single coils give you that perfect bell like tone, while the Alnico 2 PAF in the bridge turned into a perfect match for the N&M with the more laid back Alnico 2 magnets… then i built out the wiring haranessa with a blender pot replacing the 2nd tone knob. This blender pot allows you to tap as much or little of the humbucker in the bridge.
